Meeting in Brussels June 24th Brussels from 10h30 to 16h30
AGENDA.
Members of the Work Group are invited to keep in mind the importance of going on with the current work of our WG in order to build a common point of view and a common doctrine regarding topics of a great strategic impact for our architectural practice at the European level.
1. Joint working party ACE/EAAE
1.1. Report on the Joint working party ACE/EAAE meeting in Brussels
in May 20th.
1.2. Report on the debate with DG Internal Market officials attending
the meeting and especially Mrs. Pamela Brumter-Coret, concerning the adoption
process of the Qualifications Directive.
1.3. Role of the Work Group and its cooperation with the joint working
party ACE/EAAE.
2. Continuation of discussion on Bologna Accord
from our October 2003 text.
2.1. Current state of the situation in our different countries especially
regarding the academic education period.
2.2. Discussion about the way to protect our profession from insufficient
academic formation inferred by the appearance in the market of "junior
architects".
2.3. Discussion to prepare updating of ACE position about the implementation
of the Bologna pattern regarding architect's education in the different
countries of Europe.
3. ACE position and action with regard to the AIA
and CSCAE Memorandum of Understanding about UIA CPD programme.
3.1. Discussion about the way to develop and improve our own CPD European
project for architects in order to devise a European label on the topic.
3.2. Discussion to enrich the documents (Charter and Guidelines)
already approved by our General Assembly in order to satisfy newly appearing
requirements.
4. Preparation of our next meeting and planning of documents to be proposed to the General Assembly in the near future.
